I can feel the vibration of materials in the whole of my body. If I touch synthetic cloth I can usually tell that its synthetic by its quality and vibration and can only wear things that are made of natural materials. Many years ago my partner and I were exploring with sound and vibration. We started putting objects and food products beside our ears and seeing if we could differentiate between one thing and another without seeing what the object was. It worked. I was even able to feel the vibrational difference between organic and non-organic butter. Sounds mad I know, but we have done a huge amount of experiential research into sound and vibration without ever really knowing the science behind it. We are both musicians.
