Announcing a CYMATICS OPEN STUDIO this Friday, June 06 2014 with cymatics artist Jodina Meehan.
Looking for family-friendly events and activities this Friday, June 6th 2014? Come to the cymatics open studio!
Cymatics is the demonstration of sound-made-visible and seeing sound come to life, and watching beautiful geometric designs right before your eyes is an amazing experience.
On the evening of June 6th there will be cymatics art on the walls, LIVE hands-on cymatics demonstrations, and you can meet the artist in person at this special event.
Come try your hand at making cymatics designs with your voice, watch videos and take part in this multi-media, interactive open studio!
WHEN: Friday June 6th, 6-9 pm in the evening
WHERE: 139 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301, 2nd floor
Directions: Park near main street, which will be cordoned off for gallery walk and the Strolling of the Heifers that night. Make your way to 139 main street, near Gallery In The Woods and the round green clock. The studio is upstairs, follow the cymatics signs from the green clock, through the open door, and up to the studio on the 2nd floor.
Note: Children are welcome at the event if supervised by an adult. Cymatics are wonderful for kids but it is an art studio
