I’ve been visiting this website regularly for the past month as I chose to base my current Uni project on Cymatics. I’m based in Newport, Wales and it seems no matter where people are, the fascinating news of Cymatics is ever growing or should I say vibrating! across the world.
I’m currently gathering the equipment needed to create Cymatic patterns via speaker and amplifier. I cannot wait to see how it works and will send you my results! I have the aim of capturing the patterns onto photographic paper (I am a photography student) which will be situated below which ever type of material I choose to vibrate. As well as this me and a friend might attempt creating music ourselves to see what types of patterns we can achieve that way.
